#1 Raw Materials For Making Artificial Lawn
BonGrass is dedicated to delivering high-quality artificial turf products. Our rigorous quality control process starts with the careful selection of raw materials and continues through every stage of production.
#2 Extrusion
Once the raw materials are gathered and prepared, they are placed in a hopper machine for mixing. Extrusion is the foundational process for producing the fibers used in artificial grass. In very simple terms, high-quality raw polymer pellets are mixed with color and UV additives and then transformed into either flat tape or individual fibers.
#3 Twisting
The melting phase takes place in a heating furnace where the raw materials are subjected to high temperatures of about 1600°C. The water content evaporates and organic matter is burned off while the remainder of the mixture melts to form molten glass. Finally, the molten glass is cooled to achieve viscosity in readiness for the formation stage.
All our furnaces are fully automated. Their temperatures settings are controlled by our engineers from an integrated control room using special software.
#4 Tufting
In this process, the twisted fibers are stitched into a backing cloth, forming the surface layer of the turf. After tufting, the fibers are cut to create individual tufts of artificial grass, enhancing the turf’s natural appearance and performance.
#5 Backing
Here comes to involve applying a durable backing to secure the fibers in place. This backing provides stability and support, enabling the turf to withstand various weather conditions and heavy usage in professional sports settings.
#6.Testing
Our rigorous quality control process starts with the careful selection of raw materials and continues through every stage of production. We conduct thorough assessments at key points, including yarn inspections, checks on semi-finished and finished products, and a final before delivery check.
